Our home North of Salisbury is a specialist home for young people who are diagnosed with Autism, the home caters for children and young people who require one to one interaction along with positive outcomes. Our home is very much a home from home, offering a safe and therapeutic environment for young people to grow and flourish to fulfil their potential.

Whilst operating 24-hour shifts, the team are attentive to the young people’s needs, supporting emotional, mental and physical health needs, including repairing earlier damage to self-esteem and encouraging friendships, residential care should also provide a safe and stimulating environment in high-quality buildings, with spaces that support nurture and allow privacy as well as common spaces and spaces to be active

Working within a supportive and experienced team and the wider system of professionals for each child, and with children’s families and communities of origin, our comprehensive training programme in positive behaviour support and therapeutic preventions will only add to your existing expertise


Must be over the age of 21
Must have a Full UK Driving license
Must have a passion for working with children
Have an awareness of the Autism specturm
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young people or in Health and Social Care is desirable. If you do not have either of these qualifications, we will put you through this
Flexibility and understanding that we are open all year round, you will be expected to go on holiday with the children and work over Christmas to make their memories special

Salary: £17,500 - £21,000 (depending on experience) + £36 per sleep in

Working hours: 39 hours a week (overtime is sometimes available when there isn’t a full team of staff)

You would work 24hour shifts and the role includes sleep in responsibilities of between 2 and 3 per week.

All roles entail working on a shift rota, you will be required to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a regular pattern of work.
